Our Very Own Pep Squad

Cheering for the Bruins & the Memphis Tigers

September (or October, depending on the weather) in Verity's school means it's time for the Annual Harvest Party, a great celebration where kids don their favorite costumes, visit fair-like booths and enjoy a great international dinner together. All 3 of our girls were pumped to dress-up as cheerleaders (must be in their genes) and our entire family had a great time playing with the school community. There are many ways in which we feel like "foreigners" here but for one night, it was nice to participate in something our girls would have enjoyed back in the States.

Thank you once again, Nana & Papa, for the Memphis outfits you bought them. We've gotten a lot of mileage out of them! =) And Auntie Kimberly, thanks for handing down the UCLA top. The skirt? It was my 5th grade drill team skirt (I had to take it in a lot for Verity). Yes, Mom, I STILL have that skirt and yes, it somehow made it into one of our suitcases. =)
