We are officially headed into our final week in the States and it may be a crazy time. So we welcome your prayers as we pack our suitcases, tend to last-minute details and say our goodbyes. If time permits, we may have time to update the blog with more exciting events (i.e. Verity's 6th birthday, etc.) but in case we don't, just know we are in the throes of preparing to leave and that we will continue to faithfully update the blog once we return overseas.
UPDATE ADDED AUGUST 25, 2008
We landed yesterday and thank God for a safe journey - no problems with any of the flights, luggage or the girls! They are killer travelers! =) We are super jet-lagged so this is just a quick note to let you all know we returned safely and are working on getting our life up to speed here. Working on fixing our fridge (doesn't work), our hot water heater (ah! cold showers!) and cleaning up the sawdust from the workers replacing our living room floor (damaged by a water pipe that burst while we were in Tennessee). More updates to follow. We miss you guys, thanks for a GREAT summer!
