It all started with a blind date. When Lisa gave us a glowing report of her first date with James, we knew she had met someone special!Congratulations, Lisa Carnine & James Kopitzke! We are so excited for you two as you begin married life tonight!
Though I cannot be there in person to stand as a bridesmaid, I am so grateful and honored to have been asked to be in your bridal party. I first met Lisa in the 7th grade and God has grown our friendship ever since! She has been a great "Auntie Lisa" to our girls and a great friend to our entire family. The photo below is our last taken with the couple. They came out to LAX to see us off on Labor Day. We had Lisa feverishly filling out luggage tags for us while James was so helpful watching the kids as we checked-in. We're grateful to know you both.
We have also been encouraged by her family through the years ... when we have conferences in Colorado, they are always so sweet to make the hour-long drive from their home to take us out for dinner. Congratulations to you, Greg & Kathy, on welcoming a new son-in-law and to Laura & Luke, on your new brother-in-law!
