Well ... we have just made it very easy for you. We have included the time and date stamp of our OVERSEAS home (not California) below so that you can always see what time it is for us with one glance. You'll find it at the very bottom of this page. Californians have it the easiest since we are exactly 12 hours ahead of you ... so you just have to switch the am to pm and vice versa. We hope to set up a Vonage phone # once we settle in (with a 909 California area code) so hopefully, we'll be hearing your voices very soon! The time and date stamp can also help you confirm whether or not you're calling us at a decent hour! =) (By the way, when the time and date stamp reads "Tuesday, September 5th at 9:00pm" ... it means we have (God-willing) just landed and ended our 19 hours of travel!!!)
Warning: A Lopsided Blog
This blog is our "all play, no work" website because we have to limit this blog to personal/family updates only and will continue to send work-related news via our snail mail letter. Also, to check the current time in our city, please scroll down to our time stamp at the bottom of this page.

i don't know if someone recommended vonage to you guys, but those I know who've tried it domestically and in Russia (which is not where you are going) had tons of problems using it and cancelling it. On the other hand I know lots of people who used Skype with relative ease.
It's 8pm HERE on Monday night... I don't know if you laid over in NY or not, but I suspect you are somewhere over the Atlantic, or about to be. I hope the girls are sleeply, and settling in so you two can get some good rest, as I'm sure you'll need it. I can't stop thinking of you all, and your upcoming challenges/adventures... (I feel like crying!! We don't even see each other much, but I have a personal sense of loss, and worry for your family.) For reassurance, which I need, I am a visual person... so once you're settled in, I'll need LOTS of photos of your location... apartment, etc. And TALES galore of all the differences over there, etc... I love you all, and every time I think of your family tonight, I ask God to watch over you in your travels, and keep you safe. Loves... Sara C.
