Est. 1999

I blinked ... and all of sudden, we've arrived at our 10th anniversary!

Many of you remember being at our California wedding a decade ago ... back when I was still Jenni Lee. ;)

It's no secret that David and I feel like the wealthiest couple in the world ... we feel God's extravagant love, we're enjoying our 10-year marriage, we delight in being parents to the 3 wonderful daughters God has entrusted to us and we're blessed beyond measure with all our special family & friends.

For the past few months, David and I have been reminiscing about our 10 years together ... in some ways, it feels like it passed in a blink.

But when we pause to dissect each little adventure God has given us, it's amazing to see ALL that He has done in our lives ...

From newlyweds living in Memphis & Upland, CA ... to our first tiny apartment in San Diego ... fixing up an old townhome in Orange County when David began his master's degree ... 3 babies within 3 1/2 years ... a huge move overseas with 3 kids under the age of 4 ... building a home here ... and the list goes on.

What have I learned in our 10 years of marriage? That God is good. That God is faithful. And that God didn't hold back when He allowed me to marry the most amazing man.

I don't say that lightly ... our 10 years have been filled with both joys AND trials. But on our anniversary, I can only say how much love and respect I have for David Williams. He truly is the husband and father I've been dreaming about my whole life.

He continually blows me away with his commitment to our daughters. He's head over heels in love with them ... and he's just plain FUN. One night, he brought home these plastic pots...
and handed them some nasturtium seeds to plant. The girls loved this fun activity with Daddy ... he even urged them to name their plant. A few weeks later when Verity wrote a sweet letter to David, she even mentioned how much fun she had "planting and naming nasturtiums with Daddy."

Just last week, I was "thinking out loud" about the to-do items I wanted to finish before I could relax that night. I'm sure I muttered something about the laundry, the dishes in the sink and returning some emails. As I was puttering around upstairs, I heard the water running and the clank of dishes. Without being asked, he went right downstairs to help me with my list. I knew he was tired from his long day but later he told me that he "knew I was tired, too." That's David ... constantly finding big and little ways to honor God, to bless his wife and to bless his children. Happy 10th, David! I love you!

The photo above shows us enjoying a quiet night out at a Chinese restaurant. We decided to keep our anniversary celebration simple while here in-country and to wait for our furlough back in the States to do something really special! Any ideas???
