The day before, I had taken the 3 girls downstairs to our courtyard to "play." Moriah kept tripping and I noticed that wherever we walked, there was shattered glass everywhere. Discouraged, I decided to walk the girls around the block and then to head back inside where they wouldn't be cut up by glass.
For "Plan B", I decided to cut up an old cardboard box and let them paint a bean bag toss board. They helped me create these flowers and had fun tossing our bean bags through the holes.
Well, early the next morning, Verity & Annalise decided to poke their heads through the holes, walk into our bedroom together and wake us up.
Cardboard box: Free
Fingerpaints: Free (sent from grandparents)
Scissors: $2
A wake-up call that looks like this: Priceless
P.S. Right after posting this, I headed over to my big sis' blog (my Chi Omega big sis, that is) and saw this piece of fun news. May 13th may have been my father-in-law's birthday but it looks like I got the gift ... UCLA became the first university to capture its 100th NCAA title making it the most accomplished athletic program in NCAA history. Can I get an 8-clap?
