Happy Mother's Day to Three Great Women...
Not until you have walked in someone else's shoes can you begin to understand what they have been through. As parents, we can now know how fortunate we are to have the examples of our own mothers. Raising children well is an extremely difficult and exhausting task. One true test of mothering reveals itself when your children are grown and gone. If the children still
love, want to be with, and seek advice from their mothers, than that is a good sign you have done a great job.
Having said that, both Jenni and I want to honor our mothers, Holly Nam Ok Lee and Nancy Williams, by telling them that they continue to bless us tremendously. We love you very much! You are incredible role models. We're so thankful for the way
you both relied on the Lord as you raised us. Thank you very much for sacrificing so much for us.
I also want to say "thank you" to Jenni for exceeding my expectations. I am so confident in you as our girls' mommy, and I know they are extremely proud of you. Your legacy will continue through them. I can just imagine Verity, Annalise and Moriah
telling their own children how great it was to have you as their mother. Your devotion, sacrifice and tangible examples of love are amazing. It has not gone unnoticed by me or by them. You have blessed us all!
Love, David
P.S. Celebrations abound in the Williams family this weekend! May 13th is also my dad's birthday! Happy Birthday to Floyd Williams! We're so thankful for you and the wonderful influence you have been as our dad, father-in-law and grandfather! We love you very much!
