Enjoying the Pacific before our flight over the Atlantic

Thar she blows!

We had a great time last weekend visiting with my brother, Daniel, and his oldest daughter, Macy, for the final time before we move overseas. I have wanted to go whale watching for the longest time but there were no spaces available on the boat during the days of their visit. We settled for dolphin watching instead but were thrilled to encounter several Blue Whales as well. As the largest creature to ever live on earth, these whales are not only incredibly awesome but also charmingly elegant. Fortunately, they were gentle and meek, and refrained from ramming our boat. We lived to tell the tale!

By the way, today is Daniel's and Amy's 9th wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary, Daniel & Amy! Isn't it true that 10th wedding anniversaries are to be celebrated on foreign soil with a twin brother? Not wanting to break with tradition, we'll have our guest room ready for you two next August.
