Goodnight, Room

Although this past Wednesday night may have seemed like any other (our girls brushed their teeth, changed into their PJs, read a story with us and then said their bedtime prayers), we experienced the bittersweet emotions that this was our final bedtime routine with our children in our La Habra home.

It's nearing midnight as I type this on Wednesday, August 16th ... our final night in our townhome. We're 90% packed and feeling both sadness & excitement for the future at the same time.

So many incredible memories under this roof ... we clearly remember the day our friend & realtor, Loc Ta, showed us this place. Since then, God has blessed us with three children, a Master's degree, lots of growth and challenges, joys & amazing memories, and visitors from far & wide (everywhere from Tennessee to Turkmenistan).

We thank God for the amazing four years He granted our family in this home and we will cherish these memories. For the last time here ... good night.

Just think what the next few years may be like. If you have been this blessed while here, just imagine what is in store for you having given up and sacrifced what truly was valuable to you. WOW!(from Daniel)
