MOVING DAY IS HERE!I remember the first day I saw the empty lot ... back in December 2007. After a year of praying, we felt God was moving us to lay down roots in this country and so we agreed to buy the lot and work began on it a month later (January 2008).
I will always look back on this past year and a half as a time when God truly grew our faith and dependence on Him. Every bit of this house is His ... we couldn't have celebrated this "Moving Day" without His provision.
And so ... the day finally arrived for us to move from our moldy, temporary house to our new house just minutes away. We had a very hard-working crew of men who moved our big pieces of furniture and a band of selfless friends who helped with the smaller items.
As for photos of the new house, we did move in before the house was truly completed so we have quite a few projects to complete before we can take photos to share. But we do have a guest room just WAITING for guests (hint, hint). And the house is coming along ... our talented friend, Holly, was soooo very sweet to paint cherry blossoms in our girls' bedroom. We're so thankful for our new home - a true haven for us! Thanks to our many many friends and family who have helped make this move a reality!
