As expected, the girls started screaming when they heard him at the door ... they ran and just hugged his legs. Verity & Annalise didn't know what to do with their emotions, their eyes were filled with tears as they clung to him.
It truly was a fun reunion ... and the girls especially liked the jingly, Turkish dress-up outfits David picked out for each of them. Moriah took hers off before this photo but Annalise is wearing her purple one and Verity's in her black outfit. It's great to have David back ... he truly is a rare dad. He gives his best energy to his family first rather than giving us his "last crumbs."
After their exciting reunion with Daddy, the girls woke up pumped for their school Valentine's parties and eagerly donned the matching t-shirts graciously sent to them by the Kalapp Family. (And Aunt Lynne, we're enjoying those cute heart turtlenecks you gave us for Christmas, thanks so much!)

in the first photo, i realized how much older verity is now! i keep picturing her as a little girl, but she's not a four year old anymore.
please tell her i like her hair cut!
