Mine for Nine

On December 11th, we celebrated our 9th anniversary and David kicked it off by unveiling a very sweet video he made for me. I was pretty shocked and can't figure out when he made it since our computers sit in the same room.

We take turns planning our anniversary celebrations and it gets more difficult every year because there are NOT a whole lot of fun options in town. But I was very excited that he took me out to the new Korean restaurant that recently opened since I had been craving an authentic Korean meal. We enjoyed some delicious Korean dishes ...
...followed by some coffee & dessert at our cafe. I was craving a peppermint white chocolate mocha ... and we knew the only place in town that offered one! ;)
I celebrate the fact that God has given us 9 wonderful years of marriage and that He has blessed our family with a first-class husband and daddy.

Life with David is FUN. He brought home sparklers one night for the girls to play with ...

...then somehow (dads always figure out a way), they started a fire.
From fire to snow .... David walked into the girls' bedroom this morning and said, "Look outside!" When the girls saw this season's first snow, they started jumping and screaming, "It's snowing! It's snowing!" As I scrambled around for three sets of ... well, EVERYTHING (gloves, scarves, jackets, etc), I couldn't help but notice how pretty it looks. Here are the girls headed out to school. I'm sure David will be helping them form a few snowballs when they get back from school. Driving home from school, Verity said, "I can't imagine Decembers without snow!" Gulp ... yet another sign that our childhood memories will be so different! Growing up in California, I can't imagine ANY months with snow ... unless you make the trek up to the mountains! =)
