The Great Adventure

This is a life like no other - this is The Great Adventure.

This line is taken from a song by Steven Curtis Chapman called "The Great Adventure."

And I totally agree. Life with God is one big, amazing adventure and this s
ummer is further proof of that fact.

Before flying home, I was concerned that we would be too financially-strapped to enjoy any "extras" in the States. With our finances focused on building our home, I knew we wouldn't have m
uch wriggle room.

BUT God has blessed our summer beyond our expectations and in-between speaking engagements and various meetings, He has allowed us and our children to enjoy sooo many fun "extras."

T
hanks to the generosity of our friends & relatives, EVERY "fun" thing we were able to do this summer was a given to us as a gift ... whether it's a trip to Disneyland ... swim lessons for the girls ... or my birthday trip to the musical Wicked in Hollywood. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Please click here to see a few of the fun "gifts" we have been given to enjoy (and then click on "view as a slideshow.")

We thank God for this amazing summer (I can't believe we only have 3 weeks left). And as Chapman sings in the song..
This is
the greatest journey the human heart will ever see
The love of God will take us far beyond our wildest dreams.
