Princess Moriah Turns Two!!!

Moriah's 2nd birthday is coming up next week!
Since our family will be attending a
conference in Kyrgyzstan next week and because we thought it would be such a treat to celebrate Moriah's birthday with Aunt Lynne, we actually threw Moriah a small birthday party during the last week of December. It's not every day that we experience the privilege of having a family member in town!

Since the party was held on the day Lynne was leaving for the airport, Moriah's celebration was a very small, casual affair ... we invited our immediate colleagues' younger
children and they enjoyed a simple, Cinderella-themed party.

Moriah, happy 2nd birthday! You are such a blessing and a joy to each one of us! We can't imagine our family without little Moriah! Here's a glimpse into her special day .... you may click here for more photos of her birthday party!

What a great group of kids!

Moriah wasn't sure if she wanted to try to "pin the tiara" on the TV but when she looked back at her guests, all the kids were seated in a row on the couch and they started cheering her on, "Mo-riah! Mo-riah!" I just love it that our children have such sweet playmates.

Moriah is just like her big sisters in that she LOVES
to play "mommy." One of her gifts helps her to do just that!

And what about Baby Williams #4???
It is such a "new" feeling for me to reach this 2-year mark with Moriah without an infant in tow, too. On Verity's 2nd birthday, Annalise was 2 months old. And on Annalise's 2nd birthday, Moriah was 5 months old. And now that Moriah is turning two ... it definitely feels different to not be pregnant or holding a newborn today.

I am thankful for this "break" but we definitely feel excited about a 4th Baby Williams! Little by little, I am growing more convinced that God is leading us to expand our family through adoption. This year, we do have our hands (very) full trying to secure long-term housing in this country but someday down the road, I hope we can start searching the globe for the next member of Team Williams!

Wow! You guys are full of big news lately! Is this just the early beginnings of contemplation, or plans for the New Year!? We have also noticed a remarkable difference in our household having a two year old and no one immediately behind... and are savoring the less hectic enjoyment of the last baby moments that will grace our household! Keep us in the loop!!
