A Glad Grad and a Proud Dad

In one corner, you have Jacob Lee, a proud graduate of Cal State University, Long Beach. In the other corner, you have our dad, Peter Lee, who was busting at the seams watching his son join the Class of 2008. Hard to tell which man was more proud on May 29th during the CSULB graduation ceremony ... but I will say that we were all thrilled to celebrate my brother's graduation with him and I thank God that David and I and the girls were able to join him on this wonderful day!

Congratulations, Jake,
on your graduatio
n!!!
We are so proud of you!

Enjoy these highlights of our incredible day celebrating with our grad.

(remember to "view as slideshow").

Our family with the new graduate. Thank you to one of Mom's friends in Hawaii, who sent us these matching dresses for the girls. The girls were so proud of their uncle!

To celebrate, my parents rented a duffy in the Long Beach marina where we enjoyed a lunch of ribs, salad and fruit. It was a relaxing way to end a very momentous (and hot) day.

Verity had a chance to steer the duffy with some help from her favorite 2008 grad.

It was such a treat to see Jake enjoy opening the graduation book we made for him, filled with messages from his family & friends. Thanks to all of you who contributed letters & photos for this special keepsake!

What a great day! The girls are pictured here leaving the marina. Riding the duffy was their favorite part about "Uncle Jake's graduation day!" [Again, you can click here for more grad photos.]
