Welcome 2007!!!
A few days before the New Year, we were greeted with 7 inches of snow!! As soon as the girls looked out our window, they couldn't wait to get out in it to "make snowballs." So, with our meeting that morning cancelled due to bad roads, we did just that. We bundled up the kids and had a great time playing in the snow and watching Daddy build an 8 foot tall snowman!
We wanted to wish you and yours a very Happy New Year! Every new year, I am normally drawn to focus on what's "new" or on what I can "change" for the new year but this time, I have been more encouraged by focusing on what has NOT changed ... namely, God's love and provision as well as our friends and family all over the world!
AND ... we are going to be getting a HUGE TREAT in just 72 hours! My (Jenni's) parents are due to land here on Tuesday night for a 10-day visit, or as Verity calls it, "a BIG sleepover." We can't wait!!!!!!!
Also, a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to David's mother, Nancy Williams! You are an amazing mother, mother-in-law and grandmother ... we wish you all the best as you celebrate your birthday! WE LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!
